Colorado Train Collector's Meet‏

Thanksgiving weekend Colorado Free-mo set up again in association with the Colorado Rail Link NMRA club. Their set up was 84 feet long by about 16 feet wide. We came off as a branch line using Ron's adapter module.  We had modules from Ron, James, and Ben that measured out to about 50 feet of branch line with a nice passing and run around set up. The challenge came when the "locals" left the branch and had to run in the reverse direction on the main until they cleared the switch and could back into the yard. Quite a few different people ran out onto the branch and did switching at Hugo. Over all the people that ran out there enjoyed the switching and the meets at the run around. it was a great change from the classic NMRA style of running around and around without stopping.

Special thanks go to new member Andrew for helping with set up and tear down and Nick and George for allowing something new to happen to the Colorado Rail Link layout.

The more we get to set up, the better we get at it and we are really proving the flexibility of the Free-mo style of modular railroading.
